Depending on the pharmacy location and the prescribed medication, a prescription transfer may be possible.
To request that a prescription be transferred to a new pharmacy, please first call the pharmacy that is currently holding the prescription. When making the request, be sure to have the name, address, and phone number of the pharmacy you want to pick up from. If the pharmacy is unable to fulfill your request, please message the provider in the patient portal. Be sure to include the name, address and phone number of the new pharmacy so they can further assist you.
Be aware that practitioners on the Klarity platform cannot increase supply, order or transfer controlled substance medications (such as Adderall, Ritalin, Methylphenidate, Concerta, and Dexedrine) due to the nationwide demands. Please work with your provider to determine the best treatment option.
***Please note: Given the risk of electronic fraud and direction provided by the DEA, providers on the Klarity platform do not send out electronic scripts for controlled substances to multiple pharmacies simply for stock availability. Whenever possible, please work with your pharmacy and ask them to order your medication.***
